CAN YOU GIVE INFORMATION ABOUT THE ESTABLISHMENT PROCESS AND ACTIVITIES OF BEYER MACHINERY?

Beyer Machinery was established by a German engineer as a company with foreign capital. He opened an office to enter the Turkish market in the 1980s, but was not very successful in sales. He was advised to establish a production facility and in 1988 he started with a workshop in Ankara Gölbaşı. By using the cost advantages of Turkey, Beyer Makina turned into a company that manufactures for Germany over time. Meanwhile, the German industrialist handed over the company to Turkish executives in 2009 due to his aging. Beyer Makina, which continues its activities today, produces mobile crushing, mobile screening, padding plants, dewatering screens, all kinds of stationary and telescopic conveyor belts for the mining, construction and energy sectors. In addition, regarding to customer requests, we can make project-specific drawings and manufactures for crushing, screening or loading works. As Beyer Makina, we can draw our own projects and produce in our own facility. In addition, we are a dynamic, capable and experienced business that pursues R&D and innovation.

CAN YOU ALSO GIVE INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVORTLE BRAND WHICH IS WITHIN BEYER MACHINERY?

While we were working with Beyer Machinery, our desire to have a unique brand pushed us to various searches and we created our new brand as a result of our analyzes that lasted for months. In our sector, there is a tradition of taking animal names as a brand. We took the Crocodile Tortoise, one of the strongest animals in terms of jaw strength, as our logo. By establishing a company on behalf of Evortle, we manufacture our machines and market them to the world.

CAN YOU GIVE DETAILED INFORMATION ON YOUR PRODUCTS FOR THE MINING SECTOR?

In the past, we have been making project-based crushers, screens, conveyor and separation systems for our miners. We get excited when offers on this field come in. Solving the problems of our miners also makes us happy. Until today, we have produced for magnesite, coal, salt mines and quarries. We have produced turnkey projects as well as partial projects for the improvement or modernization of the facilities. In fact, our pallet crusher CT 850 and our pallet mobile screening plant BM 4015-T can easily meet the crushing and screening works of our miners. These machines are ready to be used in five minutes after they are shipped to the mine site and can be easily transferred to another mission when the project is over.

AS BEYER MACHINERY, YOU HAVE NEW GENERATION CRUSHING AND SCREENING MACHINES. CAN YOU GIVE DETAILED TECHNICAL INFORMATION ABOUT THESE MACHINES?

Since we have many industrialists producing stationary crushing and screening plants, we have specialized in mobile plant manufacturing with a strategic decision. We are the only company in Turkey and one of the few companies in the world that produces mobile crushers of small size. We manufacture Mobile Jaw Crushers. Jaw Crushers are the most stable and economical crushers with the best results according to the input material. In addition, they are generally used as Primary Crusher in facilities. Being mobile and taking it anywhere, it can be set up and started in five minutes. In addition, our diesel engine models easily ensure the continuity of work in places where there is no electricity. Evortle Mobile Crusher CT850, which we developed as an R&D project; in addition to being strong, stable and economical, it has compact dimensions and weight in order to solve the transportation problems we experience in the export of construction equipment; It can easily fit in a 40 HC container. You cannot transport from one end of the world to the other by truck, but it is possible to reduce freight costs thanks to container transportation. We just did an R&D study on this problem. In addition to all these, different from our competitors, we use forced vibrating system with an eccentric shaft in our screens. This system enables higher product sizing with smaller screen areas, and continuous and smooth operation of the screen..

Our screeners can continue to operate for many years with a regular maintenance that is not very costly. We are also one of the few companies in the world that produces an water separator that can separate solid waste from light waste.

WHAT ARE YOUR EXPORT EFFORTS? HOW MANY COUNTRIES DO YOU ACT? CAN YOU EXPLAIN IN DETAIL?

Turkey exports machinery worth 17 billion dollars annually. As Beyer Makina, we are glad to contribute to Turkey’s export. Because the fact that we are exporting shows that the companies we work with also produce at world quality and standards. This is a clear proof of the stage we have reached in the manufacturing industry. We export 80% of our sales. USA, Germany, Greece and Japan are among the countries we are exporting. But we are constantly looking for new markets, new buyers and sellers. We have established a young and dynamic team that has been trained for exporting and has no foreign language problems. We have updated our web pages and brochures within the last year. We regularly feed our social media accounts and reply to incoming messages. Our advertisements are published on sectoral web pages. We follow our competitors and potential customers. Although we cannot attend international fairs due to the pandemic, we use the internet very often in order to establish contacts and develop relations.

CAN YOU GIVE INFORMATION ABOUT BEYER MACHINERY’S PRODUCTION CAPACITY?

With our current capacity, we can produce an average of 50 machines per year. Since we know our job and what we will do well, we aim to increase the number of our personnel and our working area in a very short time.

FINALLY IS THERE ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD?

We are all witnessing the devastating effects of Global Climate Change, as floods, forest fires and environmental destruction closely. Within the framework of the urban transformation policy, old buildings are demolished and new ones are built. So, what is done with the rubble? It is left to the nature, where the municipalities show. However, we can recycle this rubble. Today Europe and the USA do this. We not only waste an important resource, but also impose new burdens on nature that it cannot easily handle. When using our resources, we act as if we have accepted the end of the world with our generation. However, we did not inherit this world from our grandfathers; we borrowed it from our children. As the title of the book written by Faruk Eczacıbaşı, one of our country’s most important industrialists, actually says, everything is “Just Beginning”. Although our company is celebrating its 33rd anniversary, the future for us is just beginning.
